I won’t say it’s a boy thing– since it isn’t. But the Small People do love insects, arachnids (spiders), and annelids (worms). Anyone that has spent more than an hour of time in a Small Person’s* life will agree: some books you will read a thousand–NOT hyperbole– times. From that sampling of literary repetitiveness, some– and this doesn’t even twinge my tree-hugging, hippie conscience– will be lost, left, and/or otherwise metaphorically (!) burned.
